Our minibus taxis carry up to 8 passengers, so your whole group travels together in one vehicle. They’re ideal for airport runs with luggage, family trips, weddings and nights out across Norwich and Norfolk. Book online, call 01603 552324 or message us on WhatsApp.
How many people fit in a taxi?
It depends on the vehicle. A standard taxi takes up to 4 passengers. Our minibuses come in 6, 7 and 8-seat versions, so tell us how many of you are travelling and we’ll send one that fits.
| Vehicle | People | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Standard car | Up to 4 | Everyday trips |
| Executive saloon | Up to 4 | Business travel |
| Minibus | Up to 8 | Groups, luggage |
Carrying lots of luggage, golf clubs or a bike? Tell us when you book. A group of 4 with big cases often travels more comfortably in a minibus than a car.
When to book a minibus taxi
- Airport transfers: get the whole group and its luggage to Norwich Airport, Stansted, Heathrow or Gatwick in one go. See our airport transfers.
- Weddings: guest runs between the ceremony, the reception and hotels.
- Stag and hen dos: everyone arrives together for a night out in Norwich and gets home together.
- Sports teams and clubs: away matches, tournaments and training days.
- UEA move-in and graduation: students, parents and bags to campus in one trip, or the whole family to graduation day.
- Family days out: trips to the coast, the Broads or a family occasion.
How much is a minibus taxi?
Every minibus journey is a fixed price that we quote when you book. It depends on the route and the size of vehicle, and there’s no meter running, so you know the cost before you travel. You pay in the car at the end.
For a guide to our standard prices, see our taxi fares page. If your business books group travel regularly, a business account lets you pay by invoice instead.
Groups of 9 to 16 people
Our largest vehicles carry 8 passengers. We don’t run 14 or 16-seater minibuses, so for a bigger group we book two vehicles to travel together. A group of 14, for example, can travel in two minibuses picked up from the same place at the same time.
Tell us your group size when you book and we’ll quote for both vehicles together. Give us as much notice as you can for big groups, especially at weekends and around graduation.
Wheelchair-accessible vehicles
We also have wheelchair-accessible taxis with a ramp and a securing system for your chair. They’re pre-book only, so tell us when you book if anyone in your group uses a wheelchair and we’ll suggest the best way for everyone to travel. Find out more on our disabled access page.
